Matthew Reisig has been an attorney since 1995. He was an associate attorney for Francis X. Moore, Esq, at his Red Bank, New Jersey firm from 1997-1998. Mr. Moore was a highly regarded DWI attorney within the state of New Jersey.
In 1998, Matthew Reisig established his own firm in Freehold, New Jersey.
Not long after establishing his own law firm, Mr. Reisig appeared in the Supreme Court of New Jersey in the seminal Refusal case of State vs. Widmaier, 157 N.J. 475. Mr. Reisig has represented DUI clients in all 21 counties of New Jersey and presently is representing DWI clients in 16 of those counties.
In the recent case of State vs. Chun, Mr. Reisig, one of four defense attorneys heard by the New Jersey Supreme Court on 4/5/2007 concerning the reliability of the Alcotest 7110. This testing device was New Jersey’s replacement for the original breath testing device, the Breathalyzer.
Chosen by other the three other defense attorneys, Mr. Reisig was first to argue this case before the New Jersey Court
Mr. Reisig was the only attorney involved in the Chun case who has the distinction of being named a certified criminal trial attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court.
And he is often asked to speak at seminars where he is considered an expert in DWI defense.
In his career, Matthew Reisig has represented more than 700 individuals who were charged with DWI but were not convicted because of his DWI defense skills. There is no other New Jersey DWI attorney who can make that claim.
